“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” the last of seven installments of the boy wizard, Harry Potter’s adventures, will be published on July 21, author J.K. Rowling announced via her website.
I am eagerly awaiting the book just so I can get done with the series. For me the novelty of Harry Potter has worn off. The eagerness and the anticipation of the first few books is no longer there. I feel this is because when Harry Potter first started there were very few fantasy books written for children and teens which dealt with magic and dragons. Most of the fantasy fiction available falls into the category of adult-teens. I swore by Enid Blyton in my chidhood, but I feel J K Rowling and Christopher Paolini write more interesting books as Secret Seven and Famous Five feel antiquated now and the characters in those have no magic. The rest of the books are for a much younger audience.
Now to get that calender out and count how many days remain, to get my hands on the last Harry Potter book.
